A website is a collection of related web pages, images, videos or other digital assets. It is the most popular source to get various knowledge and information in this generation. Travel agencies in Hong Kong would usually have their own tour websites in order to provide different travel information for their customers.
In the website, there are some elements which designed to place in an appropriate proportion, they are the banner, the top menu bar, a few images and some text. Proportion and scale are related and important because it is the size relationship of the design as a whole, it refer to the comparisons between the elements within the composition. It could offer the effective means by which the viewers can differentiate between elements within the image (Waters, c1996).
According the website, readers could find the images and the texts are representing the design of each particular page, so that the viewers can easily read and distinguish the elements in different page. Also, they provide enough attractive images to represent different countries and cities, people could probably imagine what that place is and decide which place they would like to travel most. The design of the menu bar is simple, which I think is good because it is user friendly and the destinations are provided clearly. It is a more concise and clear way to inform and indicate viewers with an intimate orientation.
